From Rebecca's Head & Heart

"Why do you begin with the Head?" a friend once asked me, refering to the name of my company. "Don't you mean Heart to Head Learning?" This is a very good point, for in all of our learning, we want to be lead by our hearts, and the truth of what we encounter must surely resonate there. But the Head is a powerful tool, a mighty force, and I want that force to bow to the Heart, to be of service and support. So when I think HEAD TO HEART LEARNING, I'm recalling my yoga practice: sitting with legs crossed, hands in prayer position, and Head bowing down to the Heart in humility and loyalty of service. Then the Heart, so honored and supported, rises up and expands, meeting the Head in confidence and gratitude.

A change I would like to make is to add "Hand and Whole-Body", acknowledging the amazing teacher which the Hand is and the role of the Whole body in learning.

A wee bit cumbersome, don't you think?

So for now when you read or hear HEAD TO HEART LEARNING,
just recognize it as shortcut for "Head bowing to the Heart, honoring the Hand and Dancing with the Whole Body.
